Instructional Video Storyboard Project

I developed a detailed storyboard for a short instructional video demonstrating how to redact a PDF using Adobe Acrobat. This was for my TECM 5290 Design and Development of High-Tech Training Materials The storyboard served as a planning blueprint, mapping out each scene, narration, and on-screen action before production began in Camtasia.

This project highlighted my ability to think visually and communicate technical processes in a structured, audience-centered way. By planning the video frame by frame, I ensured the producer had a clear and precise guide for what to say, what to show, and how to pace the content for maximum clarity and viewer comprehension.

The work required strong project management skills, careful attention to timing, and an understanding of how to break down a multi-step technical process into digestible, sequential steps. Every detail of the storyboard was crafted with the end audience in mind, prioritizing accessibility and instructional effectiveness.

This project demonstrates my ability to bridge the gap between technical content and visual communication, translating complex software procedures into a concise, well-organized instructional format ready for production.
